First Trip To Center City
Do you know why we use the term "stand trial" ? It is because suspects or the accused had to remain standing while being trialed in the past! Today I went to the Independence Hall and I saw the Liberty Bell! You know the bell with a crack which appeared in National Treasure? But I suspect the one I saw was a replica... And to satisfy my stupid craving, I actually bought Bubble Tea at Chinatown for 2.50 USD! I know I am dumb but I could not resist the temptation, I just need to drink some good milk tea! And today I experienced the tranport network of Phildadelphia, I took the subway and trolley. People here are geniunely friendly and they have good sense of humour! And this place is actually damn clean! You don't really see rubbish like those you see at non-tourist-attraction sites in Singapore! I really don't think Singapore is that clean as it proclaims... Walked past the School of Wharton too, where many famous people were born. And the bloody weather forced me to stop by a pharmacy to buy a lipbalm! My lips are all cracking up! Tomorrow I will be dropping by my company for a while and I am getting a bit nervous! Hope I would be able to fit in without much trouble. In short, life is great and I am moving into my new house tomorrow late noon. I am not missing home yet, but I wish someone could be experiencing all these with me right now (: One day we would be seeing the world together I promise!
