The One
I know it is really mean to post someone's picture and openly condemn her on a blog, but this is simply outrageous and getting out of hand. I will try not to add too much emotion to what I am going to say about this person. I am fully aware that blogs are not private and she might come across my blog somehow. This person (the girl in the pic) is much more famous than she could have imagined. She probably does not know that everyone has been talking about her (actually we really don't believe that she does not know) or she is probably just acting dumb. Every lab session without fail, she would go around the lab happily snatching the TAs from other benches. It is really super unbelievable. Whenever my TA (teaching assistant) or other benches' TAs start to explain certain concepts on a white board, she would be there. It is amazing how she could be at so many places at one time (her bench is not exactly near to mine!). It's like a TA would be at one end of a bench explaining to everyone belonging to that bench and she would be sitting right beside that TA (which means she is sitting in front of the whole bench which she does not belong to) as if she is the TA of the TA! And she would shamelessly ask the TA questions in front of the whole bench and just ignore all the strange stares from everyone. If one can kill by staring, she would have died 73498126433 times already. During the lab she simply walks around attacking the helpless TAs and we really wonder how come she does not have to do the lab work at all (maybe her poor partners do them all). And worse still, whenever someone else is asking his/her TA a question, she would LITERALLY poke her nose in the discussions! It does not matter if it is a question she has also thought of asking. And she does that during breaks of lectures even! When the whole LT are staring at her (that's how she became famous anyway). She would just stand beside the profs while every student queues up and wait for their turns to have their doubts clarified with the profs. She would just stay rooted to the ground and sometimes she even interrupts the person who is asking the questions. It's like WTH? We all pay school fees and there is a reason why one TA is assigned to each bench (unless you tell me you're paying 5 times my school fees). It does not help that she has horrible fashion sense and always intentionally accidentally reveals "inner beauty" to the profs. I really admire your inquisitiveness for more knowledge but can you not do it at the expense of people's comfort and time? Can you sense the helplessness emitting from my TA's eyes every time you approach him? Not everyone likes having a complete stranger standing super close to them and poking her nose in their businesses. If you want to exploit my TA can you please do it after the lab sessions? Don't waste my bench's precious time! I can go on and on about it but I will stop here. I guess some people would feel that it is ungentlemanly for me to do this especially since I am a guy. But I don't really care. I don't mean to be mean (oh yeah it rhymes!) but you're really getting on everyone's nerve!
