Work Work Work...
Been working for the past 3 days and it's really very very tiring. This job is turning out to be tougher than I thought. I faced many many rejections but it's not rejections that were really tiring me out. It's rather the rude attitudes of many many Singaporeans. If you are not interested with what I am gonna say when you haven't even heard of it, you can at least give a smile and say "sorry I'm in a rush". Is it that difficult? There are so many bastards around who simply shun you like you are some disease carrier and some even wave you off! How I wish that one day they will see their children being treated that way! Come on we are some poor youngsters who are out to earn some cash to relieve our family of some financial burden. We are not forcing you to listen to us but you can at least treat us with respect and kindly decline right? Of course not everyone are like that. There were some really very nice people who actually asked me for my name and told me that I was doing a fine job. Some people who were rushing actually came back to me the next day as they had promised! I really treated all my customers very politely and with sincerity regardless of whether they actually changed their ATM cards with me and so I guess that's why some of them actually came back, some even brought friends or family members along. And one very very sad fact that my partner and me had observed is that those very rude ones were mostly and sadly local Chinese! The fellow foreigners, local Malays and Indians were very very patient and polite! The Chinese I really don't wish to comment on them. Luckily I have a nice boss at the bank who made my job less hard than it could have been. Having to take 2 jobs now really shag me out. Sometimes I don't get to eat anything since breakfast all they way till 11 P.M. Well I have always known that money is hard to earn and I guess I will just have to endure. But 3 months is really a very long way to go... Someone please cheer me up and motivate me!
