Princess Mononoke
Just watched Princess Mononoke and found it really really nice. I love the whole series by that artist. Spirited Away, Laputa, Totoro and many many more. In his stories a lot of spiritual stuffs were featured, things that we have never imagined before or only when we were young we imagined before. Parental love, friendships and love between couples, kinships and courage are shown inside the animes. I feel really sad that the world we live in now is so materialistic and a lot of times too realistic and cruel for comfort. I would rather be born in an era that has not so much luxuries and entertainment and one can choose to lead a carefree life though it might be simple. I have always wondered whether spiritual stuff really do exist in the older times and I want to believe it does. I may be childish I may be too imaginative but I hate this world as it is now. Everyone is so engrossed in doing well in their career, studies that we often neglect the most important things in life which is life itself. We are not living life itself but just working till death gets hold of us. When we were young we saw the world through a pair of different eyes. Magical worlds like Harry Potter's or Laputa's have much more love than our world does. In Princess Mononoke, Gods exist in the forest and they continuously fight with human in order to preserve the very forests that they live in. It is believed that animals that lived long enough back then gained the ability to speak and think and it's the perpetual destructions by the humans which turn them into dumb and wild beasts as they are today. Humans always think that they are the highest life forms on earth but everything that we do simply shows otherwise. When will we ever realise that?
