Counting Down To Brunei...
On 22nd September 0230a.m. I will finally be leaving for the long dreaded Brunei. Many stories have been told about Brunei, most of them unpleasant. Having to go to Brunei for training is not of our choice so die die have to go. Think by the time I return I would lose a toe or 2 since my foot rot is never gonna recover. Just yesterday my bunk went to LAN to slug at each other in Battlefield and in no time we would be in the middle of a forest all on our own. Can't understand why when we hate army so much we still spent hours on battlefield haha... Stupid Daniel Lim keeps showing off that he'll be taking the business class seat for the flight to Brunei. Come on what's so great about it... Arhhhhh but I wanna try it at least once in my life too! Lucky him...
I can't believe the battalion is making life so hard for the soldiers. You now have to get GOLD for stupid IPPT in order to even have nights off! It's so unreasonable. For many soldiers like well Ah Tan I think it's near to impossible although he himself said to me that he thinks that with training anyone can do it. He's such a god soldier! But I think it's really too hard for him to attain gold. A lot of us think that our unit is really quite f****d up. Lots of admin work is too slow and inefficient and many times the instructions passed down lack logic and common sense. We have a super lousy S3 somemore who suffers a lack of maturity. He practically has zero EQ. He shouts at his subordinates like a tyrant and well he is actually one. He thinks that the world revolves around him! Everything has to be done his way and only his way. Sarcastic bastard he is. With a big ass he walks around our camp everyday complaining about this and that and making every single person's life in the camp miserable. Well he turns into a pussy when CO scolds him I heard... Bloody hell he is not even that fit considering he came from ADF and I heard he was already a bastard at ADF. There are rumours that his marriage is on the rock and I am totally not surprised. Who in the right mind and tolerate him as a husband?
Now that I am leaving I start to contact some old friends to meet up and tonight I will be meeting a classmate whom I have not talked to for ages. Quite excited about seeing her. After all we were once very good friends and there are a few people in the class who are very special to me and that includes her. Hope tonight will be fun. Well I think I won't be able to meet up with another classmate till next year though since by the time I return from Brunei she would have left for UK. I can only wish her all the best...
